Fully Automated Viscoelasticity Analyzer (DMA)
VR-7130
The VR-7130 fully automatic viscoelasticity analyzer (DMA) is a testing machine that thoroughly eliminates the causes of measurement errors and variations by automating tests and adopting a unique temperature sensor.
By combining it with THERMO JETTER, measurements up to -90°C (-100°C as an option) are possible without using liquid nitrogen.
Unlike elastic materials such as metals, polymer materials are viscoelastic bodies. Matter does not deform unless force is applied. In the case of elastic materials such as metals, deformation (response) to applied force (input) occurs simultaneously, while in the case of polymer materials, there is a time lag between input and response. This relationship varies depending on the composition of the specimen to be measured, and also has dependencies on temperature, speed, and amount of deformation. Polymer materials are used in various applications and fields by taking advantage of these differences.
Since these characteristics are often treated as material properties, it is common to measure reactions (deformation when force or deformation) is applied (deformation when force is applied, force when deformation is applied), and testing machines that can reduce the accuracy of testing machines and errors on experimenters are desired.
The viscoelasticity analyzer (MODEL: VR-7130) is a testing machine designed to thoroughly eliminate the causes of errors and measurement variations in measurement in order to measure the viscoelasticity of polymer materials.
- Fully automated operation of up to 100 specimens is possible
- By fully automating specimen chucking, measurement, and ejection, errors caused by the measurer are thoroughly eliminated
- More accurate temperature measurement is possible by adopting a step heating system and rubber-coated thermocouples
- Resolve the temperature difference between the sample temperature and the temperature sensor by using a thermocouple with a rubber coating of the same thickness as the sample for the temperature sensor and using a step heating method as the heating method
- By adopting a piezoelectric load cell, more accurate load measurement is possible
- Since viscoelasticity measurements measure minute deformations such as a few μm to tens of μm, the rigidity (deflection) of each component affects test results. This testing machine uses a highly rigid piezoelectric load cell
- Eliminates effects such as housing resonance due to compactness
- Highly accurate measurements are possible between test areas (0.1 to 200 Hz) (excluding natural vibrations of the sample)
- By adopting THERMO JETTER, it is possible to test at low temperatures up to -90°C (-100°C as an option) without using liquid nitrogen
- Measurement accuracy is improved by directly calculating the phase
- Master curves can be created (optional)
- By increasing the maximum frequency and maximum load compared to conventional models, it is possible to measure a wide range of viscoelastic properties
- Frequency: 0.1 ~ 200Hz (continuously variable)
- Max load: 200N (when load cell ± 450N)
