The TR tester measures the rate of recovery from elongation when a test piece elongated to a specified extent in the low temperature (-70°C) liquid is heated up at a specified rate (2°C/2min.). Measurement and data processing can be done on six test pieces automatically. The tester is used to evaluate vulcanized rubber on elasticity recovery performance, crystallization tendency and viscoelasticity characteristics at low temperatures.
